New Autism Related Charities

We are very happy to announce the addition of many great autism related charities to GiveBackAmerica.org.  We strive to offer our supporters a wide variety of charities to shop for, and we are pleased to announce the addition of the following:

  • AUTISM SOCIETY OF CONNECTICUT
  • AUTISM SOCIETY OF GREATER ORLANDO
  • AUTISM SOCIETY OF GREATER MADISON
  • AUTISM SOCIETY OF DALLAS
  • DAYTON AUTISM SOCIETY
  • AUTISM SOCIETY OF INDIANA

The mission of the Autism Society of America is to promote lifelong access and opportunity for all individuals within the autism spectrum and their families, to be fully participating, included members of their community.  Education, advocacy at state and federal levels, active public awareness, and the promotion of research form the cornerstones of ASA's efforts to carry forth its mission.

These five chapters of the Autism Society of America will hopefully be followed by many more.  Contact your local chapter and tell them about GBA if you would like to see them added.

  • ORGANIZATION FOR AUTISM RESEARCH

The Organization for Autism Research (OAR) was created in December 2001–the product of the shared vision and unique life experiences of OAR’s seven founders. Led by these parents and grandparents of children and adults on the autism spectrum, OAR set out to use applied science to answer questions that parents, families, individuals with autism, teachers and caregivers confront daily. No other autism organization has this singular focus.

Judevine Center has, over the years earned an international reputation as a leader in its field.

  • GLOBAL AND REGIONAL ASPERGER SYNDROME PARTNERSHIP

GRASP is the largest peer-run educational and advocacy organization in the world serving individuals diagnosed on the autism spectrum(approximately 80% diagnosed with Aspergers, and the remaining divided between autism and PDD-NOS) as well as run by them.
